The very versatile rigid heddle loom may be used to weave more than evenweave fabrics. It may also be used to weave weft-faced tapestry weaving as well as warp-faced bands and straps.
In this 4-hour workshop, we will go over how warp-faced bands and straps may be woven on the rigid heddle loom.
Your workshop package includes a belt shuttle that is used for the weaving of bands. You will need to arrange for a 12-dent reed to be used during the workshop. There is the option of renting one from the studio, subject to availability. We only carry reeds from Schacht, Ashford and Kromski rigid heddle looms.
